Your Files Stay on Your Device

ChopFile processes all PDF files entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server. They are not stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. When you close or refresh the page, your files are gone from memory.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. It provides us with aggregate data like page views, referrers, and countries — nothing that identifies you personally.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense to support the site. Google may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. This is managed entirely by Google — we do not have access to this data and it has no connection to the PDF files you process. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

No Accounts or Personal Data

ChopFile does not require registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information. The only data stored in your browser is a simple preference for your last-used settings (via localStorage), which you can clear at any time.
